Thank you for checking out our store.  We are a small 100% New Zealand owned and operated online store and our focus is to supply the best quality equipment to the market at the most competitive price. 

After 20 years at sea and becoming the father to 2 children I wanted to use my experience at sea in future ventures.  We have used most treatment methods on the ship but the most reliable was to have an inline UV system in place with pre-filters to ensure all solids are removed, and all bacteria is unable to harm you.  In recent times my family and I built an off-grid home using solar PV and batteries for power.  This meant we needed to collect and store our own water.  I drew on my previous experience and installed water filtration for our home, and ceramic filters for our drinking water. 

You hear a lot of people saying “I’ve drink this water for years and I’m fine.”  All I can say to that is that luck is not a tested method of keeping your family safe.  In addition children and the elderly can end up very sick from an easily preventable problem. 

The other side of the business is filtration systems for people using mains supply that has been chlorinated.  Our systems remove the chlorine taste and other impurities in the water.  This can either be a whole house system or an under-bench system just for drinking water.  People are becoming more aware of the quality of the central supply around New Zealand and realised that the best way to ensure you are drinking the cleanest, safest and best tasting water is to purify it yourself.
